Perhaps one of the most symbolic vehicles on the road in America is the beloved pickup truck . No longer simply the vehicle of choice for America’s rural community, dedicated city dwellers are also choosing to own pickup trucks. At TruckEnd.com we offer research and safety specs on all of the major pickups being manufactured today.

Some of the very best pickup trucks are made right here in America. Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, and Dodge are all synonymous with pickups, and many of their models are in high demand. From Chevy we have the Avalanche , Colorado , and the Silverado series. and from Dodge we have both the Dakota and the ever-powerful Ram . GMC rounds out the choices with their Canyon and Sierra link series.

It isn’t just American car manufacturers who are making pickups, though. There are also some great offerings from foreign car manufacturers such as Toyota. Toyota has both the Tacoma and the Tundra , both of which offer Toyota’s legendary reliability and high resale value. Choosing the perfect pickup from all the available choices can be difficult at best.

At TruckEnd.com we offer a great way for consumers to compare and contrast various pickup trucks without having to leave their computers. We offer reviews, tech specs, and trim option comparisons on all the above pickups and more. AAA Auto, one of the biggest used car dealers in Central Europe registered a decrease of over 34% of its sales on the Romanian market which, for the Czech company accounts for 2% of the total European sales, portfolio.hu reads.

AAA Auto managed to sell only 840 cars in the first six months of the year as compared to 1,200 cars in the same period last year. Overall, the group’s car sales dropped by 9% in five European countries, amounting to some 35,000 units. The group sold some 19,000 cars in the Czech Republic (a 18% decrease), almost 9,000 in Slovakia, over 4,000 in Hungary and almost 2,000 in Poland.

The company will decide next year whether it would close down its office in Romania where results are not as expected. AAA Auto closed down its branch in Poland this month due to losses registered recently.

AAA Auto entered the Romanian market at the end of 2005 and its sales estimations were favorable. However, last year, sales dropped as compared to 2006 from 3,100 cars sold to 2,600.

Mazda MX-5 Hardtop Convertible

Posted by: admin

Posted in: Cars

Mazda mx 5

OK, now I’m just bragging, but meandering up the coast of California on a sunny morning with the top down in a little Mazda Miata is a pretty damn good way of making a living. The sun’s out, the road is winding and I have nothing to do today other than enjoy the scenery. Though I’m not quite sure why I’m driving the aforementioned Miata. Or, more accurately, I’m sure I’m going to be disappointed, ambivalent or just plain confused about the major change Mazda has wrought to its iconic little roadster for the new model year — a retractable hardtop.

When Mazda announced it would be building a collapsible hardtop version of the MX-5, it seemed like the answer to the proverbial question that nobody asked. After all, nobody much complained about the soft-top, and the electro-hydraulic retracting tops on the market are notoriously expensive, not to mention that, when stowed, they eat up cargo space already at a premium in most convertibles, especially a little one like the MX-5.
Mazda mx 5
Imagine my surprise then when Tony Harold, the product planning guru for Mazda Canada, announced that the power retractable roof would cost but $2,195 extra and that it would be available on all trims levels of the MX-5 from the base GX ($28,095) to the top-of-the-line GT ($34,195). What were Mercedes, Jaguar et al. talking about when they claimed that the high cost of retractable roofs was the justification for their high prices and the reason for not installing such a collapsing top on their expensive convertibles? What makes this even more amazing is that MX-5s ordered with the folding roof also get all-new quarter panels and a taller trunk-lid to blend into the collapsed roof’s silhouette.

As for my second concern, trunk space, it turns out that, when stowed, the entire roof is stored ahead of the MX-5’s trunk so none of the little Mazda’s admittedly precious cargo capacity is diminished. I confirmed this by transferring all of my luggage from the trunk of a soft-top to a hardtop version.

If anything, the hardtop version has a smidgen more cargo space. Once again, I have to ask, why does a much more expensive Mercedes-Benz SLK have to lose so much of its trunk space every time I want to drive alfresco? Surely, if a minuscule MX-5 can accomplish the task of stowing a hard roof without penalty, so can a more expensive SLK.

The rest of the MX-5 stays much the same. The roof and its related gear exact a 36-kilogram weight penalty, but the 166-horsepower (163 in the automatic version) 2.0-litre four handles that without much difficulty. The rear suspension has been stiffened to accommodate the extra avoirdupois so there’s no difference in handling. And the roof is only 10 millimetres taller than the soft version, so the Miata doesn’t look much different with this hardtop than it would with the old-style roof that required stowing in your garage. And there are plenty of bonuses. In situ, the roof adds to the chassis’ structural rigidity, calming the ride and aiding handling a bit.

The big advantage, however, is in the greatly diminished wind noise. Anything over 120 kilometres an hour in the soft-top version makes anything less than a bellow unintelligible to the passenger even though he’s barely half a metre away. With the hardtop up, it’s quite easy to hold a conversation without constantly screwing your face up in the “eh?” mode. For that reason alone, the $2,195 Mazda Canada is asking for the hardtop is a steal.

It also adds to new-found all-round ability of the recently revised MX-5. While the new MX-5’s greater power and sporty handling have been applauded, there’s been an even bigger jump in the roadster’s everyday ability. Not quite as small as it once was, the new MX-5 also doesn’t feel as tiny. The overriding impression is of a teenage runabout that’s matured into an adult automobile. The new MX-5 feels more planted, more stable and less nervous than Miatas of old.

Mac games in 2008

Posted by: admin

Posted in: Cars

This week, we’ve recognized the memorable games of 2007 and a significant technology that bolstered the Mac game market. But dwelling on the past year is so yesterday—forward-looking Mac gamers want to know what they can expect the rest of this year. I’m happy to oblige.

So here’s a quick look at what some of the major game makers—and a few smaller operations—have planned for 2008 and how it might affect your gaming options in the coming year.

The Unreal world
Epic Games, which makes, the Unreal game engine, has promised that both Unreal Tournament III and Gears of War are Mac bound. What Epic hasn’t said is who will publish those games on the Mac.

However, you don’t exactly need to be a Myst-level puzzle solver to make a fairly educated guess about the would-be publisher’s identity. Destineer Studios’ MacSoft has published previous Mac versions of Epic’s offerings. I’m sure you can draw your own conclusions there.

Speaking of MacSoft, the company promises a few big announcements to start the year that should re-solidify its reputation as a top-tier publisher of hardcore Macintosh games.

Are you ready to rock? With Guitar Hero III arriving on the Mac, you had better be.

Aspyring releases
Aspyr Media’s Neverwinter Nights 2 remains was dangerously close to release; its imminent arrival will give fans of the role-playing game something to cheer about. Other Aspyr titles have already hit the market—Guitar Hero III

Real Tournament review

Posted by: admin

Posted in: Cars

Real Tournament
Description
This is a real team shooter for mobile phones. No matter, what game you prefer ? DeathMatch or Capture the Flag, you can use elevators, trains and space bikes with powerful blasters playing any type of the game. Intellectual bots will torment you greatly, and to eliminate them, you can use various weapons including chainsaw. The game contains a great number of various levels; you can select difficulty from seven possible levels, from the easiest to the extra hard.

Oh! At last! Unique 2D-shooter available anytime for everyone! DeathMatch and Capture the Flag on the display of your mobile phone. Quality artificial intellect will be your worthy competitor and elaborated levels will force you to choose appropriate tactics depending on the situation. Kill rivals and cooperate with your partner. Let bots to awe show them who is the boss on the arena!

Customer Reviews
Real tournament I imagine was based around the unreal tournament games that have been going on for a few years for the pc and consoles. The game hosts 2 modes, deathmatch and capture the flag which come as standard in the unreal tornament games. Unlike the first person shooters that this game has obviously spawned from you side scroll with a choice of 3 weapons trying to frag your enemy over quite a few cleverly edited maps. The gameplay is quite slow however and with only 3avaliable bots to play against can be a little boring, some more weapons or sound effects would of been nice, but never the less still a decent game, which I give 7/10.

The web page design development determines a lot about the marketing strategies which is why a lot relies upon your web hosting service. Thanks to services like verizon wireless and the extensiveness of dsl, we now have more hosts, more opportunities of online backup as well as more SEM methods. Not only that, but a new website design comes up everyday as well.

Land on the wrong squares and it could cost you but if you can build the biggest fortune, you win the game!

Customer Reviews
Better than I thought it would be. I don’t know how long the previous reviewer’s game was… But, the length of the game is sufficient.
I do think that the computer opponent cheats…
They lose in the mini games most of the time, but end up getting miraculous amounts of money from the cards that they draw.
I got beaten pretty badly by “kelly”.
Anyway, this is a fun game. I guess it would also be fun if you played against a friend and swapped the phone every turn.
Graphics are fine. Enough events and mini games to keep entertained.
But, it is a board game… So…
Try it and see for yourself.

Customer Reviews
Big kahuna is like a combination of jewel quest and bejeweled.
Instead of removing gold coins like in jewel quest, you are removing crates here. Instead of jewels, you are removing things from the sea.
It is fun. If you like the previously mentioned games - you will like this. Good graphics and otehr features such as fish and a net. Good game.

Inca quest - alot of people are comparing it to bubble bobble or bust a move. It is similar in gametype but different in the way the game plays. For instance, in the other 2 games…. I have both - you shoot a balloon or bubble of a color and try to hit 2 others of the same color to make them pop. Here you have objects… But I noticed that when you shoot a balloon - it is actually attracted to others of the same type and will bend around almost seeking them. Also, there are barriers and powerups.
